ChatShipper User Roles
In ChatShipper we distinguish 5 users roles each of them with their own permissions and rights.
- Guest
- Agent
- Bot
- Admin
- Owner
This is what that looks like in ChatShipper > Configuration > Users

Guest user
- Can self register with a whitelisted email address
- Can Read conversations

Guest users have free access to ChatShipper
User / Agent
Everything a Guest user can plus:
- Accept / Join conversations from channels
- Send and receive message across touchpoints
- Create new conversations / new contacts
- Create and Submit Results
- Search knowlegde base
- Start / participate in team conversations
Admin user is a paid user license
Organisation bot
Everything a Agent can do plus:
- Work 24/7 :)
Bot user is a paid user license
Admin users
Everything a Agent can do plus:
- Configure organisations
- Manage integrations
- Manage users
- Manage Channels
- Manage Forms (flexible business cases)
- Manage Inbound and Outbound routing rules
- Manage Knowledge Base
- Create / manage Webhooks
Admin user is a paid user license
Owner users
Everything a Admin can do plus:
- Register on behalf of an Organisation
- Sign DPA
- Manage Payments / Billing account
Owner user is a paid user license
